Nicole 

Practice Manager 

Nicole has been the Practice Manager of Elma Animal Hospital since our opening.  She brings with her over 30 years experience in Veterinary Medicine.  She is a Buffalo native, with her husband Kelly.  She has two grown sons, Anthony and Derrick, and two beautiful granddaughters, Ariana and Rowan.  She loves taking her furry kids, Jager & Spanky everywhere. She's an avid outdoor extremist, loves all things nature, and is a diehard hockey fan...GO SABRES!!!

One of her goals here at Elma Animal Hospital is to ensure that every client, and patient, feels like the family member she feels they are!

Katie, Luke & Owen

Head Technician

Katie is our Head Technician and has been with us since the beginning. She resides in Elma with her husband Adam and their two daughters, Sophie and Evelyn.  Katie's furry family consists of her handsome dog, Luke, and her rabbit, Chase.

Nikki & Skylar

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Nikki joined the Elma family in September of 2017.  She resides in East Aurora with her two sons, Landon and Lincoln, and her adorable dogs Skylar & Joey.  Her two cats, Bean and Kitten, make sure to let her know how much she is missed when she's at work helping to make all the other furry babies feel better!

Gabby & Juno

Veterinary Assistant

Gabby has been at Elma Animal Hospital since 2021.  She has always loved animals and started working with them in 2017.  She has gained experience with small animal, farm animal, and wildlife medicine. Gabby interned at a wildlife sanctuary in Florida where she assisted in the rehabilitation of various wildlife, including birds of prey, reptiles, and small mammals.  She has also volunteered with an animal shelter in Barcelona where she helped socialize and exercise the furry friends waiting to be adopted.  In 2019, Gabby graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Biology.

Gabby has two pets of her own; a Border Collie mix named Juno, and a cat named Kiowa.  During her free time, you can find her hiking with Juno, skiing, and always looking for new adventures in WNY!

Erin & Brohdee

Veterinary Assistant

Erin has been working in the field of Veterinary Medicine for the past 13 years, but joined our family here at Elma Animal Hospital in April 2022.  Erin is an Elite Fear Free Certified Professional and is also certified in LSH (Low-Stress Handling) -these handling techniques help to minimize fear which creates a safer, less-stressful environment for your pet while here in the clinic.  She has also received her Preventative Healthcare Certificate and is a Veterinary Nutritional Advocate.

When she isn't working, Erin loves spending time on the trails with her two Quarter horses, Brohdee & Buhdee. 

She shares her home with an 12yo Yorkie named Roobee & just welcomed a new German Shorthaired puppy named Ivee (Ivy) to her family!  Erin is currently furthering her education to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Receptionist

Missy joined us in August 2020.  She has worked in the Veterinary field since 2009 & has had experience working with multiple types of animals throughout her life. 

In her spare time, Missy enjoys hiking and kayaking with her white German Shepherd, GiGi.

Denise & Maddie

Denise has been working in the WNY Veterinary community for almost 25 years & she can’t imagine doing anything else!  Denise volunteers for the Beagle Freedom Project, whose mission is to rescue Beagles and other animals used in laboratory experimentation and to find them forever homes.

She shares her home with her husband Peter, two dogs; Audrey & Violet, two cats; Allen & Pablo.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, listening to music, reading, crocheting, watching The Office, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills!

Laura & Gryffindor

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Laura is newer to Elma Animal Hospital but has been a veterinary technician for the past 15 years.  Her professional interests include behavior, pain control & fear free handling.  Laura shares her home with a black lab named Gryffindor Moose, a Cavapoo named Autumn Rose and her cat, Captain -which is short for Captain Morgain Rum! 

When Laura isn't working, you'll find her traveling, hiking or rock climbing!

Carol

Carol

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Born and raised in Buffalo, Carol graduated from Medaille Collage and received her technician license in 1997.  She happily joined our team here at Elma Animal Hospital in 2023.

Carol has worked with many different species, including exotic birds and wildlife.  She shares her home with her adorable black cat named Jewels.  She enjoys horseback riding, gardening, bird watching & spending time with her friends and family!
